Dear Parents,

Our Winter Concert is fast approaching! The chorus is sounding great and will make this night of music very special!

IMPORTANT: Our concert will be AT Mt. View High School in the LARGE Theater, on Wednesday Dec 6th at 7:00PM.

To help clarify what we need up to the concert:

1.      Healthy singers and ringers! Please make sure your child is eating well, sleeping more and staying healthy : ) I need them all in great shape for their night to shine!

2.    Students are to be in the band room, no later than 6pm for warmup- physical and vocal and final notes before the concert. Their performance attire is: Early Bird Chorus: Their choir shirts and tan or khaki bottoms.

3.     Make-up and jewelry are to be minimal, and the hair should be off the face.

4.    We have been discussing appropriate concert etiquette in class both for performers and audience members. We would respectfully ask that you refrain from flash photography during the performing which can cause temporary vision loss and also turn your cell phones and pagers to silent or vibrate and respond only with clapping after a piece is finished and the conductor has released the last note.

5.     We need several parent volunteers to ease with supervision for the night of the concert. If you would like to assist or can help, please contact me, 579-4600 or M.L.Zearley@maranausd.org
