Biography

Mr. Steve Poling was raised in Tucson, where his family has been long time residents. Following college in Deerfield, Illinois, he went on to teach for six years, most of which was in the Tucson Unified School District. He was an administrator for four years in the Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District in Rio Rico, AZ. Two of those years were as a
middle school assistant principal and the last two were as an elementary school principal. Steve and his wife have two young children, one boy and one girl. This is Mr. Poling's third
year as the principal at DeGrazia Elementary School.
