PRE establishes clear expectations for the behavior expected in all classrooms and areas of school. Students are taught these expectations with reinforcement and consistent consequences.

Free After School Classes!
The 2022-2023 school year was our first year of offering CCLC before and after-school classes at Picture Rocks, with an overwhelming response of interest and participation.

The Arizona Department of Education has released A-F School Letter Grades scores based on data from the 2022-23 school year and Picture Rocks Elementary School received a B Letter Grade.

Licensed by the AZ Dept. of Health Services, and AZ Dept. of Economic Security approved, our school offers preschool with small/large group activities and enrichment learning activities that promote development in the arts and large motor skills.

Picture Rocks offers a wide variety of academic learning for students, including Gifted Education in Marana (GEM) services, co-taught classes for math and ELA to support students with special needs, exceptional student services programming, english learner programming, and Title I support.

Picture Rocks Elementary is pleased to announce the achievement of Level 1 certification in Marzano High-Reliability Schools™. Level 1 certification means our school has created a “Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Culture,” which is the foundation for every level that follows.
