If not completed in class, students need to finish Christmas Trees Then and Now information cards. Their paragraph summary needs to include a topic and concluding sentence, and details in their own words about how Christmas tress have changed over the years.

Students need to know their multiplication facts, I still have students without facts memorized. Use flashcards, verbal quiz on the way to activities after school while in car. We are starting long division this week, then fractions. 
Monday- 
Math-Chapter 5 Test Th-PRACTICE multiplication facts and double digit by double digit multiplication-be sure to regroup (carry) and add those numbers in. Use turtle head to help. 
Reading/Writing- look on www.christmas.com-write 2 facts on Christmas tree
Complete your THEN and NOW on Christmas trees. It needs to be colored and match description of time period.
Spelling list(Christmas Around the World) we made up in class, it is on typed sheet of paper. Test Fri. 
Social Studies-Bring in Candy cane tomorrow for class activity-Day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas is Candy Canes. Today the theme was Christmas Trees
