Meet the Principal - Mrs. Kauffman

  • Caitlyn Kauffman

I am very honored to serve as the proud principal of Gladden Farms Elementary School. Gladden Farms is a community well known for demonstrating dedication and support to our learners and staff. As the first school of its kind in Southern Arizona, Gladden Farms Elementary School is full of innovation, collaboration, and most importantly, strong relationships. Last year, I enjoyed getting to know our students, staff, and community. This year, I look forward to strengthening those relationships and also building new ones.

As an educator, I believe all students can learn and I believe that deeper learning happens when students are given hands on experiences and truly interact with the content. Our integrated ELA, Science, and Social Studies curriculum, in combination with Computer Science Immersion, and Project Based Learning allow for students to explore and build upon skills at each grade level.

As I continue my work with our dynamic teachers and staff, student growth and relationships will be at the forefront of that work. I believe that when a school provides safety, consistency, and opportunities for error and growth, that school can help students to realize and reach their full potential. Our PBIS system, Computer Science Immersion, instruction, and relationships will help us to achieve this together. We ask our students to be Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Kind every day at Gladden Farms Elementary School. These expectations help our students to be positive and productive learners. I look forward to continuing to work as a team to prepare our students for middle school, high school, and beyond.

When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my husband and our son. We enjoy camping, off roading, fishing, and spending time with our parents. I am a proud Wildcat Alumni, times three! I still enjoy visiting the University and attending sporting events throughout the year.

We are going to have a great year! I am looking forward to partnering with you to facilitate your child’s education. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    With Pride,
    Mrs. Kauffman
