Welcome to Coyote Trail Elementary

  • Welcome to a warm, supportive and involved community that believes a strong nation is dependent on capable and contributing community members that come from our local school system.

Coyote Trail Elementary School, within the Marana Unified School District, is a preK-6 school offering the highest quality inspiring and enriching education in a safe, nurturing, and award-winning learning environment. We are honored to have been named an A+ School of Excellence by the Arizona Educational Foundation as well as earning an "A" letter grade from the AZ State Board of Education.

Home of the Coyotes, our school opened its doors in August of 1996. We are proud to offer pre-school, full day FREE kindergarten, before and after school care, gifted and special education, full-time Master level school counselor, health services, librarian, music, arts, physical education, and more.

Our school provides a diverse educational experience for the 21st century by incorporating student Chromebooks and collaborative comfortable configurable furniture, into comprehensive, relevant and rigorous instruction. In Marana schools, the core focus is not simply to ensure that students are taught, but to ensure that they learn. Students are challenged, relationships are built, and teaching is focused on individual student achievement.

Our business partnerships with Dream Dinners and M&I Bank have provided resources that compliment the strong district resources already in place.  We also enjoy a healthy working relationship with our parents and their extended family members.  We truly believe it takes a village to raise a child and this is a proactive and positive "village" for our students. Our strong relationships with local providers also include the Town of Marana and we can't recall a day when we didn't have their full support and participation on our campus.

We believe our parents and community are members of our school family and we welcome your involvement as we prepare our future leaders.
