Meet the Principal - Todd Garelick

  • Todd Garelick Todd Garelick graduated from Westwood High School in Austin, Texas. He attended Rockford College in Illinois and lettered in soccer. Mr. Garelick graduated with a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado and completed a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Education. He received his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership for Northern Arizona. 

    Mr. Garelick began his career as a teacher and coach in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. There he taught Government, Economics, World History, and Law Enforcement. He also coached 4 state championship teams: 3 with Horizon High School (’01, ’03, ’04) and one with Shadow Mountain High School (’97). He also was a member of the Region IV Olympic Development staff for US Youth Soccer. 

    Prior to coming to Mountain View, Mr. Garelick was the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director for Ruidoso High School in New Mexico. The school won 3 state championships under his leadership. He served as the Athletic Director at Mountain View High School for 6 years prior to becoming the Principal at Mountain View. 

    He has a wife, Amy, and 3 children. His favorite band is U2 and his favorite saying is “Hook ‘Em Horns.”
