Meet the Associate Principal - Kristin Stutzman
It is truly my honor and privilege to be an Associate Principal at Dove Mountain CSTEM K-8. I was blessed to begin my adventure at Dove Mountain when I opened this school as a 1st grade teacher. Dove Mountain is unique in that we have the opportunity to connect with students on many different levels. Students have the opportunity to develop deeper and longer connections due to the K-8 structure. They also have the ability to work with students at a variety of different age groups. We have many varying ways to engage with other DoMo students including my personal favorite, sports!
I began my teaching career in Kindergarten and have had the pleasure of teaching all grades from kindergarten through third. I have even taught a few multi-aged classes and one of my favorites was being able to loop with my students a few times. One of my passions is being able to teach children to read and I love to watch the amount of growth that happens every year in each grade. One of my fundamental beliefs is that all students can learn and that my duty as an administrator is to assist both students and teachers in becoming the very best they can be. Finding ways to connect with all students and learning their learning style is essential to educational success.
I am a proud mother of four, two daughters and two sons. My favorite things include spending as much time as I can with them, hiking, running, reading and partaking in any adventure I can find! We love road trips! Having received both my undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Arizona, you will find us at many U of A sporting events as we are avid Wildcat fans. I love to learn new things and am so excited to continue to build our Dove Mountain Community.
As Associate Principal, Kristin Stutzman oversees educational services.
