The Marana Unified School District's Return to School Task Force development of a Safe & Thoughtful Return to School plan is a collaborative effort guided by MUSD's teachers and administrators, parents and employees, local and state health officials, and Arizona's Roadmap for Reopening Schools. The work of the Task Force is:
It is Marana Unified School District's promise that the District's Safe & Thoughtful Return to School plan is designed with the health and safety of students and employees as the top priority, and based on public health information available at the time. This plan to return to school is student-centered, focused on the social, emotional and physical health and safety of students and staff, and designed to keep students learning at a high level. The 2020-2021 school year will look different, but it’s an opportunity to chart a new course for success when it comes to education.
It is MUSD's commitment to offer every student a safe, high-quality learning experience with a focus on school connectedness while providing additional services and supports to students and families.
NOTICE: The conditions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic are continually evolving and the unpredictability of this virus requires MUSD to remain flexible and ready to make changes in our plan. MUSD's Safe & Thoughtful Return to School plan and Safety Protocol are consistently evaluated to adapt to the continuing trends of the COVID-19 virus, guided by local, state, and national authorities. MUSD thanks you for your continued patience, support, and understanding through this process.
