Department Mission
The mission of the Human Resources Department, as a strategic partner, will provide recruitment, employee development, and management consultation services to current and future employees so the District can achieve its vision and strategic goals.
Service, Communications & Productivity
The department looks forward to displaying an attitude of teamwork and quality in our day-to-day operations. We will seize opportunities, which demonstrate excellent execution, caring attitudes, and a sense of urgency. It is our goal to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of human resources at all levels. We will employ technology and methods which will enhance service, communications and productivity.
Recruitment
The department works to recruit qualified individuals and strives to retain and promote the valuable employee talent while recognizing and encouraging the value of diversity in the work place.
We will seek and provide solutions to workplace issues that support and optimize the principles of the organization. The department provides advertising, recruitment, interviewing, new hire orientation for administrative, certified and support staff positions for approximately 1900 employees. We will strive to provide a competitive compensation and benefits package.Policies
