The office of Public Relations plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs the Marana Unified School District in fulfilling its mission and vision in the areas of public relations, communications, and marketing between the District, schools, students, parents, staff, and community.
The office is committed to transparency and to providing the highest quality service. Public Relations implements robust internal and external communication and marketing strategies dedicated to the promotion of the organization and to meeting the needs of all stakeholders.
The District views the news media as valuable partners in communicating information to both District stakeholders and the general public; to that end, Public Relations responds to media inquirers, and coordinates release of information to ensure accurate, consistent, timely and easy-to-understand information is disseminated to news media.
The office also oversees the use of various communication platforms, including social media channels, Websites, and mass communication, to ensure accuracy, promotion of message, information sharing, and consistency in the organization's brand and image.
