Meet the Associate Principal - Edward Walker

  • Eddy Walker This will be Edward Walker’s third year as Associate Principal. Edward was born and raised in Kingman, Arizona. After graduating from Kingman High School, he attended the University of Arizona where he earned a B.A. in Education with a major in History and a minor in Sociology. In 2010, he earned an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.

    Edward spent two years teaching ninth and tenth grade Geography, World History and English at Kingman High School. In 2005, Edward returned to Tucson and taught for one year at Secrist Middle School. In 2006, Edward was hired at Marana Middle School. During his tenure at MMS, Edward has taught both seventh and eighth grade as well as In School Suspension. Edward spent two years as the eighth grade Dean of Students and during one of those years he served as the 21st Century After School Programs Coordinator. He has also participated in multiple school and district wide leadership committees. Edward is incredibly excited and humbled to have the opportunity to serve as an Associate Principal for the school that he loves for another year!
