Butterfly Garden & Friendship Bench
-
A HUGE thank you goes out to Charlotte and Rebecca Turner for completing their Girl Scout Service Project at our very own Twin Peaks K-8 school. With the assistance of a few additional volunteers, a lot of manual labor and numerous bags of potting soil, these two girls built a beautiful butterfly garden, and multi-colored friendship bench, for the Twin Peaks playground.
The butterfly garden is simply beautiful and arrived just in time for spring; with colorful flowers of all varieties … and it even includes a greenhouse tent and decorative butterfly art!
Students are already enjoying the new friendship bench and butterfly garden, conveniently placed near each other, offering shade from a nearby established tree, for those who want to sit and make a new friend. What a wonderful addition for all of our Twin Peaks students!
