Dear MUSD Parent/Guardian:
As you are aware, the Marana Unified School District (MUSD) has shifted focus from learning at home to the summer planning process on how to reopen schools safely and responsibly for the 2020-2021 school year.
The safety of MUSD students, families, and employees continues to be the District’s primary consideration in all planning discussions and decisions. A MUSD Return to School Task Force with several sub-committees has been established to survey stakeholders, analyze input, and identify learning options, as well as develop contingency plans for the 2020-2021 school year. The District’s work will focus on safety and the identification of various learning options, guided by the Roadmap for Reopening Schools released by the Arizona Department of Education on June 1, 2020.
It is important that the District continues to hear from you as we plan and prepare. Please provide your input by completing the MUSD Parent/Guardian Survey 2 – June 4, 2020. The survey will close on Tuesday, June 9 at 8:00 pm. MUSD recognizes that these are uncertain times with many unknowns and evolving conditions; therefore the District will continue to communicate with you and seek your input several more times this summer as the planning process progresses.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership as we all work together to provide the best learning experience for our students. Please continue to stay safe and stay connected.
