What is my student learning right now?

The counseling curriculum varies within each grade level, but each year every Estes student is taught a variety of SEL topics within three main units: Emotions, Relationship Skills, and Self-Awareness. 

COVID-19 has kept us apart, but that doesn't mean we cannot continue to communicate. You or your student can contact us to let us know how things are going, or if you need some support. Keep powering through these hard times we are currently facing, and remember, this won't last forever!

How do I get my student in a small group?

Different counseling small groups are offered each new quarter depending on the needs of our students. Some of our small groups focus on things like anxiety & worry, self-esteem, coping skills, anger management, social skills, changing families, and more.

Please contact our counselors for more information regarding the groups currently being offered, or to get your student involved in small group counseling.

*We are currently not running any counseling small groups due to scheduling limitations. Nonetheless, if you want your child to be involved in a small group, contact our counselors so we may add them to our running list!*
