On behalf of our staff and Governing Board, I welcome you and thank you for choosing the Marana Unified School District. It is our honor to serve the children and families in our community.

Students are challenged, relationships are built, and teaching is focused on individual student achievement. The District consists of remarkable employees, a dedicated Governing Board, invested parents, and caring community and business members. We are proud of Marana’s many accomplishments. Whether it is our A+ schools, award-winning students, state recognized programs and athletics, or our nationally certified educators; our District is committed to creating an educationally enriching safe experience for all children in our community. From academics to athletics, to the arts, educators and staff continue to inspire and empower students to explore, question, create and learn.

It is the District’s belief that we must continue to seek opportunities to engage students in the most relevant learning opportunities possible in order to prepare them to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. The District is confident when every student graduates and leaves they are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and values necessary for success in an ever-changing society. 

Marana is known for its strong family-oriented culture and parent/community to school partnerships. Parents and community members are encouraged to become actively involved in a student’s school experience.
