Marana Schools’ 2340 Scholarship Recipients Celebrated at MCAT
-
Marana Unified School District is pleased to announce Marana Schools’ 2340 Foundation graduating MCAT seniors, Shaniyah Griffin and Ester Olivas, were selected to receive a 2340 Scholarship for $1,000! Scholarships are awarded to students who have attended MUSD from kindergarten through 12th grade and demonstrate excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, and community service.
Families, friends, and a handful of teachers and staff were a part of the surprise recognition, presented by Superintendent Dr. Dan Streeter and 2340 President Dr. Jan Truitt. Students, their families, and a favorite MUSD teacher who impacted the student, will be recognized at the 2340 Celebration of Excellence Luncheon on March 4.
The 2340 Foundation is committed to providing necessary resources to ensure equity and excellence are always supported within the Marana Schools. Their commitment to helping the District enrich its focus on teaching and learning for students’ entire education in MUSD – the 2,340 days from Kindergarten through 12th grade, inspired the name of the “2340 Foundation.”
Congratulations, students!
