Extended Learning Opportunities
Department Overview
MUSD Extended Learning Opportunities provide a secure, supervised, learning and playing experience that will enhance the quality of the time a child spends away from home. ELO is also committed to providing safe, quality, and affordable programs that meet the needs of children and their families.
Preschool (Early Childhood Education)
The MUSD ECE Centers are licensed early learning facilities available for three to five year olds during the school year.
L.E.A.P.
Learning, Enrichment, And Play (L.E.A.P) programs are licensed extended learning facilities available year-round throughout the Marana School District for students enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade.
T.E.D.
Teen Extended Day is a before/after school program for childcare offered at the K-8 schools of Dove Mountain CSTEM and Twin Peaks for students enrolled in grades sixth through eighth grade.
Preschool, L.E.A.P. and T.E.D. are fee for service programs.

DeGrazia Elementary LEAP and Preschool has earned its first 5-star rating from Quality First—Arizona’s top rating for early childhood programs! This recognition highlights our commitment to high-quality care, strong learning environments, and exceptional staff.
Summer LEAP registration opens April 14 to MUSD students. LEAP explores summertime fun through weekly themes focused on STEM, arts & crafts, music, dancing, and fun physical activities to keep students engaged! Hosted at Twin Peaks K8 and Ironwood Elementary.
