Department Overview
The Public Relations & Community Engagement department oversees the District’s internal and external communications, public relations, community engagement, and marketing efforts aligned with the District’s mission, vision, and commitments.
Our office is committed to providing accurate information and good news in a timely and transparent manner to key audiences including staff members, families and parents, our community, and the public. When any incident arises that may impact the safety of our students or staff, the PR office is the primary communications contact, working with administrators, law enforcement, and the media to disseminate information quickly and effectively. Our office also manages branding for the District, our schools, and programs.
The PR Office oversees various communication platforms including the District and school websites, social media, and the mass communications tools (email, phone, text) used to communicate with our families and staff. Working with the media and leveraging district channels, we celebrate and amplify the accomplishments and news of our students, teachers and staff, and schools.
