Collaborative partnerships allow the Marana Unified School District to leverage family, school, and community resources to remove barriers to learning and provide essentials to families in need.
A cornerstone of our culture is our commitment to partnering with the Marana community, the Town of Marana, local businesses, the faith-based community, volunteers and countless partners, where a spirit of collaboration unites us. Together, we work to enhance the lives of students and their families and ensure that students have what they need to succeed in school and life. We believe that all students are capable of great achievements and we remove barriers to help students thrive.

April 20 - May 1 there will be a temporary closure of the I-10 eastbound Tangerine Road exit. Families are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate off-ramps exit 236, 242, or 244.

MUSD is hosting Gifted Education in Marana (GEM) Parent Info Night on Wednesday, April 15th, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Coyote Trail Elementary School. Families, educators, and community members are invited to join us!

A new digital scoreboard on the football field, improvements to the East parking lot, a new auditorium stage, and updates to the culinary classroom were included in the enhancements.

The MUSD Family Resource Center is proud to celebrate the successful completion of its recent Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) series. Participants learned how to eat smart, stretch food budgets, and incorporate healthy habits into their daily lives.

The District received recognition for its response to a school bus accident traveling from Phoenix on I-10 near the Tangerine Exit in April 2025. Marana Unified School District is deeply honored to receive this award.

The Second Annual Cereal Drive Exceeds Expectations! In its second year, the SSC custodial staff went above and beyond, more than doubling last year’s drive total by collecting over 700 boxes of cereal for MUSD students and families.

Donating instruments to two schools, MUSD is appreciative of the Kiwanis Club of the Desert for its continued commitment to providing students with opportunities to discover their passion for music.

As part of an employee service project while visiting Tucson for a convention, SPRI donated an astounding $7,500 worth of food and gathered approximately 50 volunteers, who assembled almost 700 snack packs for Marana Schools.
