In the 25-26 school year, Marana Unified School District celebrated its centennial - 100 years of teaching and learning in Marana Schools. The district dug into its history and discovered how we grew from a handful of board and canvas classrooms to a thriving school district that proudly partners with our families and the greater Marana community.

Today, we highlight Zoie Sentz and Cristina Dominguez-Cota, proud alumni of Coyote Trail, Marana Middle and Marana High School (Classes of 2016 & 2017). From their early days as students in Marana schools, now both lead and teach in the district.

Today, we highlight Craig Rex, a proud alumnus of Marana Elementary School (Class of ‘76), Marana Junior High School (Class of ‘79), and Marana High School (Class of ‘82). Craig fondly reflected on his time in MUSD, sharing that some of his strongest memories come from being involved in school athletics and student life.
