From the Health Office - Lucinda Leunen
Hello Estes Eagles!
My name is Lucinda Leunen and I am so happy to be the Health Assistant here at Estes. I have two amazing children; one boy and one girl, whom both attend MUSD schools.
Ill or injured students are my first priority when they come into my office.
As a health assistant, I am the contact point for your children whether they need to take medications, are injured, or have any questions or concerns. Please remember that I DO NOT provide medications, only administer. Please note that prescription labels need to be included with prescription medication along with a signed and completed medication form. In addition to caring for the health and wellness of your child at school, I ensure that all student immunizations are current and up to date, and administer hearing and vision screenings.
Every student must have an up-to-date immunization record on file from a documented source, or a signed exemption on the basis of medical or personal belief. To learn about student immunization requirements, and our Health Services Department, please visit the Health section of the District Website.
I work closely with Sheri Henderson, our school secretary, and Tracy Williams, our attendance clerk, to ensure the health and happiness of our students.
If you have any questions regarding the health and well-being of your child, please contact the Health Office between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
