We are confident when every student graduates and leaves our District they will be prepared with the skills, knowledge, and values necessary for success in an everchanging 21st society.
From academics, to athletics, to the arts, educators and staff continue to inspire and empower students to explore, question, create, and learn.

The program is developmentally and individually appropriate in addressing cognitive, social, emotional, and physical areas of development. The District also provides licensed preschool learning facilities at several elementary schools.
A wide continuum of services covering all areas of exceptionality, within the least restrictive environment, is available for students in grades K-12. Students receiving special education are supported by a team of professionals who develop individual education program goals and provide related services such as psychological testing, speech pathology, and occupational and physical therapy aligned to individualized need. The District also provides an enriching preschool program for ages 3-5 years. The PAL Preschool Program is an integrated inclusive licensed preschool providing the highest quality education during the school year to children with identified learning challenges and their non-disabled peers. All instruction is aligned with state standards.
The District provides a variety of resources and programs to support the academic needs of eligible Title I, English Language Learner, Migrant, and Native American students. Supplemental programs consist of instructional services which assist in achieving the Arizona academic standards.
Marana students are offered a K-12 comprehensive competency based school counseling program. Every MUSD school employs Master level, full-time school counselors at each school who act as a point of contact for parents & students for assistance in academic, personal/social, and career development. Family Resource Centers enhance student and family support through the delivery of case management and referrals, an early learning support program, counseling, community and volunteer outreach, and other intervention services.
The District offers secure, supervised learning and play experiences that enhance the time a child
spends away from home and school. Enrichment Centers are available at all elementary schools
and at designated schools during school breaks. The Centers offer academic support, art, physical
education, and hands-on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) activities geared to
academically challenge and engage students in a creative and fun way.
