Meet the Associate Principal - John Hudecek
As a native Tucsonan and resident of the Marana Unified School District, I have a deep love of the Old Pueblo and the Marana community. I earned my undergrad in education at the University of Arizona and my graduate degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University. I believe in public education and the dedicated educators that pour into our students each day; furthermore, I believe that education is the cornerstone of a strong community focused on equipping the next generation for a brighter future. My wife and I are proud that all three of our children attend schools in MUSD.
As I begin my second year as a member of the Ironwood Elementary team, I am excited to continue to build the strong sense of community, academic excellence, and personal relationships with our students and families that has made Ironwood such a wonderful place of learning. I have always believed that the best leaders are those that are willing to remain humble, serve others, and lead by example. It is my sincere desire to support Mr. Johnson, our staff, our students, and our families in our common goal of providing a safe, positive, and engaging school environment.
While there are continued challenges that our community faces, I look forward to a new school year and a season of growing stronger together as we find fresh ways of improving while maintaining all that has made Ironwood reputable and cherished within our community.
It is my absolute pleasure to be a part of the Coyote family.
