Meet the Counselors

  • Gretchen Mazaheri Gretchen Mazaheri - Email
Alpha A-C; PBIS Support; SAP Group Leader; Freshmen College and Career Lesson Co-Leader

I am excited to become part of the Marana Team. I moved to Casa Grande 7 years ago with my daughter to enjoy living near my parents. I obtained my Master’s in School Guidance in 2013. I am interested in improving the college graduation rate and encouraging our youth to give back to their communities.

Kelsey Romero Kelsey Romero - email
Alpha D-H: Personal/Social, McKinney Vento/YOTO/Vision Quest, SAP Group Leader, SST Member, & Junior Class Lesson Lead

I am originally from Los Angeles, California and arrived here at Marana by spending one year working at a boarding school in Sedona. I enjoy spending my free time outdoors and traveling the world, which included living aboard in the Netherlands for one year. I look forward  to helping students achieve their goals and succeed in life during and after high school.

Megan Leon Megan Leon - email
Alpha I-M; CTE/JTED Support; College Support; and Sophomore Lesson Lead

I am a born and raised Tucsonan, a Marana High School Alumni, and a proud graduate of the University of Arizona. I graduated from the UofA in 2014 with a B.S. in Family Studies and Human Development and again in 2017 with an MA in Counseling.  I’m an avid sports fan, mostly football, and spend a lot of time attending sporting events. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends on the weekends.

Jessica Pierce Jessica Pierce - Email
Counselor N-R; College Testing and College Preparation.

Originally from Livonia, Michigan, I joined the Air Force in 2002 as an active duty aircraft mechanic.  In 2009, I left active duty for the Air Force Reserve and moved to the paralegal career field.  In the military I serve as a mentor and counselor for young troops.  In 2011, I began my journey as a school counselor in Dover, Delaware.  As a military family we move around a lot so I understand the challenges students of military families face.  I have lived in Tucson for just over two years with my husband (who is active duty military) and two step-sons.

Belinda Stevens Belinda Stevens - Email
