My name is Jarrod Ganzer and I am the new School Resource Officer for Marana Middle School. Before becoming a police officer I served in the United States Marine Corps. I started my law enforcement career with the Tucson Police Department and was an officer there for just under a year. I was then hired by the Marana Police Department and have been an officer here since February of 2018.

I have spent the majority of my career working patrol. I have also been certified in several specialty trainings: General Instructor training, Crisis Intervention Training, Critical Incident Stress Management, sexual offender recognition training, and several active shooter trainings.

I am excited to join The Nest and help make it an even better and safer place to learn and grow.
