  • What Is Saturday Success?

    Marana Saturday Success Spring 2018 program provides the highest level of quality instruction available specifically for Marana Unified School District students grades 10-12 seeking credit retrieval for an English course. To be eligible for this program, students must have previously failed the English course they intend to take.

     

    Convenient Saturday Classes

    March 3 thru April 21, 2018 
    No class on March 17 or March 24 
    Class time: 8:30 - 11:30am
     

    Registration: Ends Feb 16, 2018.

    To Register: Contact high school counselor.  
     

    Includes:

    • Teacher and instructional support on-site.
    • Online classes taught by appropriately certified teachers.
    • Small group support
    • Held at MCAT High School
    • Courses: English 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7
    • Tuition Free
    • Transportation not included

     

    Students are expected to attend every Saturday until they complete the program in order to insure their successful completion of the program. Students are only permitted one absence or they will be removed from their course. Students must complete all course work, including the writing project(s), assignments and final exam by 11:30 am on April 21, 2018 in order to receive credit.  Additionally, a passing score of 60% or higher is required on the final exam regardless of the student’s overall grade in the course prior to the final.
