Meet the Principal - Dan Johnson
It is my pleasure to be the Principal of Coyote Trail Elementary School. I have been at Coyote Trail since it opened in 1996 and continue to enjoy this community and staff. The faces have changed over time, but our goal remains the same; to provide a quality education for our students as they grow and mature.
My family and I joined the Marana family in 1996 and it has been a wonderful relationship that has been a blessing to me and my family as we team up our efforts to serve this community of learners.
I come from a family of teachers and my wife of 24 years, Camilla, is also a teacher. We have four children; Kendra 21, Alyssa 21 now married to Dylan, Jenna 18, and Joel 17. They are vital members of the Coyote Trail family as well.
As our oldest daughters reflect on their college life we are reminded of the necessity of a quality foundation which includes a strong educational experience. It is my desire to partner with our parents, students, the community and district personnel to help provide that positive educational experience for our Trailblazers.
We hope this web site serves as an effective tool as we work together. Please do not hesitate to contact any of us as we work together to provide a great educational experience for our students.
As principal, Mr. Johnson oversees school leadership and educational services.
