From the Attendance Clerk - Kathleen (Kathy) Hutcherson
I’m part of the Coyote Trail family because…this school has a wonderful reputation, and I’m proud to be part of this amazing team. Working in education allows me to give service to my neighbors in a way that also matches my needs and my lifestyle. This is a position I thoroughly enjoy. It provides the opportunity to be in touch with all staff, parents, students, and our community. Being part of the Coyote Trail Elementary staff is both fun and supportive!
A little bit about me…I was born in Muskegon, MI however, we moved to AZ when I was only 6 months old. Growing up, I’ve lived in many towns across Arizona. As an adult, I’ve lived in Tucson over 35 years. I have three young adult sons, and two grandsons. I began working in school districts when my youngest son went to first grade. This allowed me the opportunity to have the same schedule my children had and be involved in their schools at the same time. In my “free time” I enjoy my family, homemaking, movies, restaurants, the outdoors, fishing and camping.
What I do at Coyote Trail…I am the first person you will meet when you visit our campus. I answer all phone calls, enroll new students, track students’ attendance, call families, answer many questions, and help students, families, teachers and staff with any needs they may have. I’m also certified to be the “back up” for our health office. Along with our staff and the wonderful support of teacher aides, I’m able to keep all our information neatly organized in both the file room and Synergy.
