MUSD high school students were selected to participate in the annual Career & Technical Education Ambassador Day, bringing peers from Marana High, Mountain View High & Marana Vista Academy to practice public speaking and grow leadership skills as program ambassadors.

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) program had completed the auto shop remodel at Marana High School, enhancing student learning opportunities.

The “Wings Over Marana” project stands as the newest public art sculpture in a longstanding partnership between the Marana High School Welding Program and the Town of Marana, an ongoing collaboration that brings public art to life through the hands of our talented youth.

The Digital Photography Career and Tech Ed (CTE) digital photography program immerses students in the world of contemporary photography, emphasizing both technical skills and artistic vision. The curriculum covers aspects like composition, lighting, editing software, and specialized techniques to capture and process digital images. With the field of digital photography continually expanding due to technological advancements, this program equips students to adapt, innovate, and excel in diverse industries such as advertising, journalism, fine arts, and commercial photography.

A two-year digital communications program offers an in-depth exploration of modern communication across digital platforms. With the DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS Career and Tech Ed (CTE) program, students dive into topics like social media management, content creation, and digital storytelling. Through hands-on projects and industry-relevant coursework, students gain the expertise necessary to thrive in dynamic fields such as digital marketing, public relations, or corporate communications.

The DENTAL Assisting Career and Tech Ed (CTE) program is a comprehensive two-year curriculum designed to equip students with an in-depth understanding of dental procedures and practices. The program offers externship opportunities where students gain hands-on experience in real-world dental settings, fostering practical skills and deepening understanding of key concepts and practices.

The award-winning WELDING Career and Tech Ed (CTE) program offers a comprehensive two-year curriculum encompassing various welding techniques, metallurgy, blueprint reading, and safety protocols. Students acquire hands-on experience in diverse welding methods applicable across industries including manufacturing, construction, aerospace, and automotive sectors. 
 

The STAGECRAFT Career and Tech Ed (CTE) program dives into the multifaceted world of theater encompassing set design, lighting, sound, costume creation, and stage management. This program offers a comprehensive understanding of the excitement behind theater, preparing students for roles in stage production, event management, entertainment venues, and performing arts industries.

The SPORTS MED & REHAB PROGRAM Career and Tech Ed (CTE) program offers a comprehensive curriculum tailored to various careers within Sports Medicine. MUSD students gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in sports rehabilitation, physical therapy, and athletic training. Internships on campus provide real-life experiences working with student-athletes and teams on the field or court.
 

The SOFTWARE & APP DESIGN Career and Tech Ed (CTE) program involves the creation and development of user-friendly and functional applications for various devices and platforms. It encompasses the entire process from conceptualization and planning to coding, testing, and implementation. Successful software and app design prioritize intuitive user interfaces, efficient functionality, and responsiveness to meet the needs of modern users.

The MENTAL & SOCIAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN Career and Tech Ed (CTE) program prepares students for the demanding yet rewarding field of mental health care and social work. With an increasing need for mental health professionals, graduates from this program are well-positioned for roles in counseling centers, community organizations, healthcare facilities, and social service agencies.

MUSD’s LAW & PUBLIC SAFETY Career and Tech Ed (CTE) program equips students with foundational knowledge in legal studies, criminal justice, emergency management, and public safety protocols. Industry certification obtained through this program validates competence in areas such as law enforcement, emergency medical services, or homeland security, enhancing career prospects within these fields. 

The GRAPHIC DESIGN Career and Tech Ed (CTE) program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and software proficiency essential for creating visually compelling content. Through hands-on projects and theoretical coursework, students explore various facets of design, including branding, layout design, user experience (UX), and illustration, preparing them for diverse career opportunities. 

MUSD’s FILM & TV Career and Tech Ed (CTE) program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering aspects of the entertainment industry, including filmmaking, television production, screenwriting, and post-production techniques. Experiences in the program provide students with opportunities for networking, internships, and portfolio development, preparing graduates for entry-level positions in film, television, or related media industries.

MUSD’s EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES Career and Tech Ed (CTE) program offers a comprehensive emergency medical services curriculum that integrates with practical, hands-on experiences. Students undergo rigorous training in emergency medical procedures, patient assessment, and trauma care. Upon program completion, graduates receive a national industry certification solidifying their competence in providing life-saving emergency medical services.
