Program Description:
The Network Security program prepares students to assess computer and network security needs, recommend protective measures, and maintain security systems and procedures.
- Students learn to analyze, test, and troubleshoot network systems—including LANs, WANs, and internet-based networks—to ensure reliable and secure operation.
- Instruction covers cyber threat management, application integrity, infrastructure security, and network maintenance, along with advanced critical thinking and applied academic skills.
- The program is delivered through a coherent sequence of courses aligned with workplace expectations and Arizona’s Professional Skills standards. Students also develop leadership and career skills through participation in SkillsUSA or FBLA.
