$20M in Scholarships Awarded to Class of ‘26

Marana Unified School District is proud to celebrate graduates of the Class of 2026! This year, 1,083 seniors will walk across the stage and receive a diploma from one of our four high schools including Marana High, Mountain View High, MCAT High, and Marana Vista Academy (MVA). MVA is graduating their inaugural class, with two graduates. Take a look at our seniors’ accomplishments on behalf of the Class of 2026.

$20M in Scholarships

Seniors brought in $20 million in scholarships! Scholarships were awarded from private and non-profits groups including Rotary Clubs, Robles Equine Competitions, ASU Alumni Association, University of Arizona Saguaro Scholarship, ASU New American National Scholar Award, NAU Lumberjack Scholars, Sherry Cervi Youth Barrel Racing Championship Scholarship, Dominic Romero Memorial Scholarship, SPEAR Future Business Leaders Scholarship, Army ROTC, Baha'i Community Service, Marana Schools’ 2340 Foundation, and more.

Post-Graduation Plans

Students report that they are heading to universities and trade schools across the country and abroad, enlisting in the military,  traveling to work on service or mission trips, starting careers with industry certifications and more. Post-secondary institutions they are headed to include Brigham-Young University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, University of Pittsburgh, Colorado State University, Howard University, Purdue University, University of Washington, University of California-Santa Barbara, Northeastern University, University of Miami, University of Southern California, Trinity University and more! Mountain View High School seniors reported:

  • Attending University of Arizona: 110 students
  • Attending Northern Arizona University: 96 students
  • Attending Arizona State University: 49 students
  • Enlisting in Military: 22 students
  • Working full-time: 42 students

MCAT High School

  • 30 students are planning to enroll in community college
  • 3 have signed military contracts

Career and Technical Education (CTE)

  • Marana High School students earned 435 Industry Certifications in Agriscience, Automotive Technologies, Culinary Arts, Dental Assisting, Early Childhood Education, Law & Public Safety, Mental and Social Health Tech , Sports Medicine
  • Mountain View High School earned 62 Industry Certifications in Dental Assisting, Emergency Medical Services, Mental and Social Health Tech, and Sports Medicine.
  • Marana High School had 325 students pass the Technical Skills Assessment. Mountain View High School had 118 students pass the TSA.

Commencement Ceremonies
