Celebrating 40 Years of Dedication: Honoring Mr. Donald Scott

Marana Unified School District is proud to recognize Donald Scott, QRE 5th grade teacher, for an incredible 40 years of service in education.

Throughout his career with MUSD, Mr. Scott has taught at Thornydale Elementary and Quail Run Elementary. As a 5th grade teacher, he has played an important role in preparing students for their transition to middle school, equipping them not only with academic skills, but also with confidence and character.

Mr. Scott is widely recognized for his ability to build strong, authentic relationships with students and families. He establishes trust and positive rapport with ease, creating an environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to succeed. His classroom reflects his student-centered approach, where patience and consistency guide his teaching and every child is valued.

With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Mr. Scott brings both expertise and heart to school each day. His calm, steady presence has made a lasting impression on colleagues, students, and families.
