DeGrazia Elementary LEAP and Preschool Earns First 5-Star Rating from Quality First!

Congratulations are in order for DeGrazia Elementary LEAP and Preschool, which has proudly earned its first 5-star rating from Quality First, Arizona’s statewide quality improvement and rating system for early childhood programs.

The Quality First Star Rating System is a voluntary program designed to help Arizona families identify high-quality child care and early education providers. Ratings are based on thorough assessments using research-based tools that evaluate critical aspects of early learning environments—such as adult-child interactions, classroom quality, and staff qualifications.

Earning a 5-star rating is the highest recognition a program can receive, reflecting a commitment to excellence in early childhood education and care. DeGrazia Elementary Preschool now joins the ranks of other top-performing preschools in Marana Unified School District, where all MUSD preschool programs currently hold 4- or 5-star ratings from Quality First.
