Dustin Barr Selected as 2026-27 Associate Principal for Mountain View High School!

The Marana Unified School District welcomes Dustin Barr as the new Associate Principal at Mountain View High School for the 2026-27 school year. The MUSD Governing Board members voted during their March meeting in favor of hiring Dustin Barr for the role of associate principal at Mountain View High School.

Mr. Barr brings a strong background in educational leadership, curriculum development, and student-centered practices. He currently serves as Assistant Principal at Challenger Middle School in Tucson, where he has focused on curriculum and instruction, helping drive measurable gains in student achievement.

Mr. Barr holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University (2021), as well as a Master of Education in Teaching and Teacher Education from University of Arizona (2014). He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Adolescents, Community, and Education, from the University of Arizona in 2012. He also holds an Arizona Principal Certificate and a Secondary History & Government Teaching Certificate.
