Food Services Wins a Summer Feeding Grant!
 Summer Students on stage

Dairy Council of Arizona recognizes the importance of a healthy, nutritious summer feeding program on the health of Arizona children. Summer feeding provides the nutritional bridge between the end of one school year and the beginning of a new school year.

Last spring, MUSD Food Services won a grant of $2,000 from the Dairy Council of Arizona. This grant was used to incentivize students to participate in the Summer Food Service program by purchasing fun family outdoor game activities such as jumbo bowling ball sets, pickleball, giant Jenga, soccer balls, basketballs and lawn size Connect Four. Students who participated in the Summer Food Service program were entered into a raffle to win these prizes.
