GFE Re-establishes Paddock Peace Garden!
The Paddock Peace Garden has been successfully relocated and re-established at Gladden Farms Elementary School!
The Paddock Peace Garden was created and named after the first principal of Gladden Farms Elementary, Mrs. Nancy Paddock. Due to campus growth in 2020, the garden needed to be relocated, and the pandemic paused all progress on it. Following more than a year of planning and hard work, finishing touches were recently completed by 65+ volunteers during a 9/11 service day.
Last week, GFE staff and students hosted a beautiful Rededication Ceremony and Mrs. Paddock attended as a guest. The garden remains a special place for the GFE campus, supporting hands-on learning experiences for adaptive students and helping create a relaxing space for outdoor education.
Thanks to the Marana community and donors including Trico, GFE PTO, Little Owl Landscape Maintenance, and the 2340 Foundation, who contributed to this important project!
