Ironwood Elementary Achieves Level 2 HRS Certification!
Ironwood Elementary School earned High Reliability School (HRS) Level 2 certification, ensuring effective teaching in every classroom! All MUSD schools are working toward earning this certification, and all schools have successfully achieved Level 1 Certification, creating a safe, supportive and collaborative culture.
The HRS program was created by Marzano Resources to help transform schools into organizations that take proactive steps to ensure student success. Using a research-based five-level hierarchy, along with leading and lagging indicators, educators learn to assess, monitor, and confirm the effectiveness of their schools.
About HRS Level 2 Certification: Ensuring Effective Teaching in Every Classroom
High quality instruction is the most important tool educators have at their disposal to positively affect student learning. Level 2 of the Marzano High Reliability Schools framework details how to develop and maintain teacher effectiveness in every classroom by building a shared language of instruction and using this common language to raise the level of pedagogical skill both individually and collectively.
