Marana High School Celebrates Campus Improvements!

Marana High School saw several significant upgrades during the 2025–26 school year, enhancing both safety and the overall campus experience for students, staff, and the community.
On the football field, athletes and fans can now enjoy a large, new digital scoreboard, making game scores visible from the stands. Outside, the East parking lot was milled, repaved, and re-striped, with speed humps replaced to ensure smooth traffic flow and improved accessibility. For both the school day and athletic events, a Weapons Detection System has been purchased and implemented.
Inside the school, the auditorium stage was completely replaced with a maple wood floor and vapor barrier, and finished with a professional-grade coating for durability and performance. Additionally, the Culinary classroom (C19) received a new epoxy floor, providing a modern, functional space for students to learn and practice essential skills.
Thanks to the Marana community, these improvements were made possible through the voter-approved School Improvement Bond Proposition 491, along with grants and local funding.
