Marana Middle School Upgrades Auditorium Stage with Bond Funding

Marana Middle School recently completed a major enhancement to its auditorium, the campus’s most frequently used performance space, thanks to school improvement bond funding. The project involved the full replacement of the stage, including the demolition of the existing flooring, nosing, and cove. A new vapor barrier and durable maple flooring were installed, creating a professional-quality space built to last for years of student performances and events.
This project is part of a larger effort during the 2025–26 school year to transform Marana schools’ campuses into safer, more functional, and more engaging spaces for students and staff. These improvements are made possible thanks to the Marana community through the voter-approved School Improvement Bond Proposition 491, along with grants and local funding.
Thank you for your continued support, your contributions make a real difference in the daily experiences of our students and staff.
