MCAT High School Learning Lab: A Flexible Transition Option for Students

MCAT High School is excited to offer Learning Lab, open to high school students ready to transition to MCAT. Students can begin MCAT at the start of each quarter or in the middle of a quarter through this program. MCAT serves credit-deficient juniors and seniors by helping them graduate on time.
In the Learning Lab, students attend MCAT in-person while completing online classes in a structured classroom setting. Once the new quarter begins, they will seamlessly transition into a regular class schedule with their peers.
Students enrolled in the Learning Lab receive full access to:
- Counseling services
- 504 plan accommodations
- IEP services
- MUSD transportation
Families interested in this program should complete the MCAT application and the online orientation, which are included in the acceptance packet. After finishing orientation, you will be prompted to schedule an in-person orientation day. Most students are able to complete the process and begin in the Learning Lab within just five school days.
This flexible program ensures students don’t lose valuable learning time while making the transition to MCAT.
