MCAT Principal Honored as 40 Under 40 Award Winner!
Female principal Schimke

Congratulations to Mrs. Beth Schimke, Principal of MCAT High School, on being selected as a recipient of the 2025 “40 Under 40 Award” presented by the Southern Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The Southern Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce proudly unveiled the 2025 class of 40 Under 40 honorees—an inspiring group of young professionals who exemplify leadership, service, and a deep commitment to community advancement. These exceptional individuals have consistently demonstrated selfless dedication to progress in Southern Arizona, serving as true representations of the region’s promising future.

This year’s 40 Under 40 celebration will feature a keynote address by Olympic Gold Medalist Kerri Strug, a Tucson native and member of the legendary 1996 U.S. women's gymnastics team, the "Magnificent Seven." Strug’s courageous vault on an injured ankle secured the first-ever Olympic gold medal for the U.S. women’s gymnastics team, making her an enduring symbol of perseverance and determination. Her story continues to inspire generations, and her presence at the event underscores the values of resilience and commitment that the 40 Under 40 honorees represent.

The 40 Under 40 Awards celebrate leadership, community involvement, and the impactful contributions of those working to move our community forward. This year’s theme, “Inspiration,” highlights what makes each honoree inspiring and how they, in turn, inspire others throughout the community.

We are proud to see Mrs. Schimke recognized among this outstanding group of leaders!
