MHS Senior Named Young Woman of Impact Honoree!
Carly Kaplan

Congratulations to Carly Kaplan, a senior at Marana High School, who was named a University of Arizona Young Woman of Impact Honoree!

Young Women of Impact honorees are students from public high schools in Pima, Cochise, and Santa Cruz counties who are nominated by members of their school administration for their commitment and dedication to the core values of the Women of Impact initiative. The Young Women of Impact program acknowledges young women making a difference in their schools and communities, connecting them with university role models, and cultivating a pipeline of future Women of Impact.

Carly is a dedicated student who represents her school and community in many capacities. She has participated in chamber orchestra for all four years of her high school career and has performed with the regional orchestra for three years. Carly is the captain of the swim team, lieutenant governor for the Southwest District Key Club International organization, a National Honor Society member, and a Southern Arizona Girl Scouts organization board member. Carly will represent MHS and the MUSD community at the Arizona Girls State Conference.
