MHS Welding Students Build Custom Skateboard Rack for Marana Vista Academy

Students in the SkillsUSA welding club at Marana High School put their skills to work, creating a custom skateboard rack for students at Marana Vista Academy.
The project, completed by Abdiel Falcon-Gamez, Martin Svedberg, and Jeyden Baltierrez, showcases craftsmanship and collaboration. With the support of the Marana Vista’s PTO, the welding program designed and built the rack for Vista students, using the skills they have acquired in their welding classes.
The welding club charges parent groups and other clients for community projects like the skateboard rack, and proceeds generated will go toward supporting the Welding Club, helping provide resources and opportunities for students to continue developing their technical skills and leadership experience.
This project is a great example of collaboration across schools to support the growth and development of all students.
