MUSD Welcomes Adam Ostmeyer as New Safety and Security Coordinator!

Marana Unified School District is proud to welcome Adam Ostmeyer as the newest member of our team, serving as our Safety and Security Coordinator. Adam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, along with a deep commitment to the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and school community.

With a strong background in safety and security operations, Adam has dedicated his career to creating environments where students can thrive and learn without worry. His proactive mindset, combined with a passion for education and public service, makes him an invaluable asset to our district.

Adam’s connection to MUSD runs deep, he was born and raised in Marana and is a proud graduate of Marana High School. He also began his journey with us as a 2340 Foundation kid, making his return to MUSD a special full-circle moment.

After high school, Adam joined the Army National Guard full-time, serving in global contingency operations, including deployments to Afghanistan and the Middle East, as well as in-state emergency response missions. He recently retired from the military in June 2025.

Prior to joining MUSD, Adam worked for five years as an Intelligence Analyst, supporting local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies with actionable intelligence for investigative efforts. He is currently completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security at Grand Canyon University, with graduation set for September 2025.

Outside of work, Adam is a devoted husband and proud father of two.

Adam is passionate about building strong relationships with staff, students, and families to ensure every MUSD campus is a safe, secure, and welcoming place to learn and grow. He is excited to give back to the district that helped shape him and is eager to contribute to its continued success.
