MVHS Senior Leads Statewide Virtual Student Town Hall with Arizona Leaders!

Mountain View High School senior Tysen Woodward took center stage as he co-facilitated a statewide virtual Town Hall featuring members of all three branches of Arizona’s government, Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, Justice Kathryn King, and Representative Justin Wilmeth.
More than 1,200 students across Arizona tuned in live as Tysen guided the conversation and presented questions submitted by students from around the state. His poised and thoughtful leadership helped ensure students’ voices were heard at the highest levels of government.
Tysen was selected for this honor because of his role as the Chair of the Kids Voting Arizona Leadership Council (KVLC), a student-led organization that encourages civic engagement and participation among youth. His leadership and passion for student involvement continue to make MUSD proud!
