MVHS Tennis Duo Claims Division II State Championship!

Mountain View High School is celebrating a major victory as tennis players Emiliano Manzo, senior, and Andrew Schmidt, sophomore, captured the Tennis Division II Doubles State Championship title! The two were the surprise unranked duo of the tournament.

The duo delivered an outstanding performance in the final match, defeating Catalina Foothills with a 6–4, 6–3 win. Schmidt and Manzo’s achievement marks a significant milestone for Mountain View’s tennis program. Their hard work throughout the season paid off in a big way, culminating in a well-earned state title.
