MVHS Theatre Students Shine at AZ State Theatre Festival!

Mountain View High School Theatre students recently took part in the Arizona State Theatre Festival, also known as the Arizona Cardinals Civic Summit 250, where they immersed themselves in a dynamic, real-world theatre experience. Throughout the event, students participated in hands-on workshops, college interviews, and the highly competitive statewide BACKstage Challenge, gaining valuable insight into both performance and technical theatre pathways.

The tech theatre team, proudly known as the Tyrannosaurus Techs, represented MVHS exceptionally well, earning 3rd place in the state out of 67 competing schools. Even more impressive, they were the only non–Phoenix-area school to place in the competition, a testament to their skill, dedication, and teamwork.
