Roadrunner Elementary Welcomes New Book Vending Machine!

Roadrunner Elementary School celebrated the arrival of a Book Vending Machine, designed to inspire a love of reading among students. The special vending machine was unveiled during a schoolwide assembly that marked an exciting moment for students, teachers, staff, and parents.

With the new Book Vending Machine, students will receive birthday tokens each year to choose a book in honor of their special day, continuing to promote reading across campus. Students who receive PBIS awards for positive behavior will also receive tokens toward books.

Roadrunner Elementary and Marana USD thank Dr. Nick Clement in collaboration with the Teachers Change Brains Foundation, The Reading Pig, and the NAU College of Education, for this special gift valued at $10,000.
