Supporting MUSD Families: Resources & Assistance Available

With lapses in federal funding and other challenges, many families may find it harder to meet their essential needs. If you or someone you know needs assistance, we encourage you to contact MUSD for support.
The MUSD Student and Family Support Services team of counselors, social workers, and coordinators provide a variety of support and resources to students and families across Marana Schools. The MUSD Family Resource Center, which is housed on the Play & Learn PAL Preschool campus, also gives families access to services, food, clothing, basic home and school necessities, so students can succeed in school and families can feel supported.
The MUSD Family Resource Center provides:
- Community food pantry: Access to snacks and meal staples
- Threads and Treads: Thrifted clothing for students and family members
- Home and personal essentials such as hygiene items, toiletries, diapers, and household supplies
- Partnerships with community organizations that connect families with additional local resources
If your family, or a family you know, is in need, please reach out. The MUSD team is ready to help with care, confidentiality, and respect.
